Are you ready to follow your joy or is there something in the way?

I noticed these flowers on a walk recently.

Beautiful flowers blooming when they probably shouldn’t; following their joy!

Not caring two hoots what anyone thinks about them blooming in November.

You have the same energy of life following through you.

It’s that feeling which arises when you start to follow your joy.

That’s the little voice that says go here, do that.

The trouble is, that’s when Niggly Nelly raises her head.

When she says:

❌ You cannot do that
❌ You will look stupid
❌ People will judge

Niggly Nelly says, now is not the time and has you put things off.

The thing is there’s no right or wrong time for you to bloom.

If you’re ready to bloom right now, that’s perfect.

Don’t let that habitual voice put you off.

If wisdom says you’re not quite ready, that’s perfect.

And especially don’t have to compare yourself with others.

They’ll bloom when they’re supposed to, too.

There’s not a right season or a right time for you other than that which you know.

There’s no right or wrong.

So watch out for the thinking that tells you otherwise.

Watch out for the thinking that says you have to wait or you’re too late.

Or you’re nowhere near as far as other people.

Watch out for it all.

Especially for comparisonitis.

It has you playing small and not reaching your full potential.

So just watch out for that.

Just like those beautiful flowers who are blooming when they probably shouldn’t, you can bloom exactly when you’re ready and in your perfect and beautiful way.

Don’t wait.

DO IT NOW!

When you have that insight from within you, follow it and trust it.

Just like those flowers.

There’s no right way, no wrong way. Just your way.
