Yesterday morning I had a wonderful realisation that it’s okay to be not okay.

You see, I slept in and saw that it’s okay.

I didn’t post on here or do my live and it’s okay.

Yesterday I felt tired all day and it’s okay.

Yesterday I didn’t tick off any things on my list and it’s okay.

It’s all okay!

It has taken me a long time to see this!

Now I am free.

No judgement.
No guilt.
No self-recrimination.

So often this is the conversation I have with my clients.

I teach them that it’s okay to be not okay.

They have thoughts, feelings and behaviour that they don’t like – I teach them that’s okay!

Underneath all that we are all okay.

The ‘not okay’ stuff is just on the surface – transient – made of thought.

It’s part of the human condition.

I sometimes think that if we could have one day where we saw …

other people’s thoughts like ticker-tape across their foreheads…

other people’s feelings like a washing machine window…

then we would see that we are all the same.

We think, we feel that thinking, we behave as a result of the two!

If you are reading this now, I want you to know that you are okay too.

You are human and you are supposed to have a human experience.

In fact it’s all okay.

Instead of it’s okay t be not okay let’s say ‘It’s Okay to be Human’
