You might well be wondering why the story about the fish today.

It’s because it’s an analogy for how we humans are swimming around in thought all day every day and have no idea.

The trouble is that a lot of this thought is creating stress without you knowing.

Here are some of the things your mind is set up to do which might be creating stress:

💭 Your mind compares
💭 Your mind ruminates
💭 Your mind predicts
💭 Your mind storifies
💭 Your mind shoulds
💭 Your mind judges

This list could go on and on but neither of us has all day.

Now you might be thinking that this endless list is something you need to sort out … something you need to change.

But really it’s just something to be aware of.

Thought is creating every single moment of your experience.

It is creating every single thing that you feel.

The stress you are feeling right now is coming from thought.

Once you know this, there are certain thoughts you might choose to engage with a little less.

The choice emerges from the knowing.

But also it’s good to know that you are not alone. If you are caught up in one of those types of thinking, or any other for that matter, WELCOME TO THE HUMAN RACE!!
